How to change Ford Freestar transmission fluid? And how much fluid needed?

The AX4N transaxle pan drop and filter change will take about 6 or 7 quarts. Use Mercon V transmission fluid and I would add 4 quarts and then start the engine and cycle the transmission shifter through the gears and back to park and then add the remaining fluid as necessary to bring the fluid level up to the cold level on the dipstick. After the engine and transmission is warmed to operating temperature I would cycle the transmission shifter through the gears and back to park again and then check to see if the fluid level has expanded to the hot level on the dipstick, and if not then I would add fluid as necessary to bring the fluid level up to the hot level on the dipstick. The system will take about 12 or 13 quarts to do a total flush and fill. How to change Ford Freestar transmission fluid? And how much fluid needed?
