if you have a search around on the top half of the gearbox, you should find a round bolt bung thing with a square head on it, should fit a socket! How do you change a subaru baja transmission fluid?
Adding gear oil is a pain in the butt. You have to use a funnel and stand back! Look in your owner's manual in the maintenance section and they will show you where to find the drain plug and the fill plug. How do you change a subaru baja transmission fluid?
ya i totally agree with the pain in the butt part I would recomend buying a little hand pump to pump the fluid up in there with so that you dont make as bad of a mess. You would be amazed at how much fluid you can waste with a funnel and trying to get the stuf in there. Its hard enough on a truck where you have some room to roll around, let alone under a subie which i dunno bout you but i can barely get under mine to change the oil without putting it up on little car ramps (and if you put it up on them you better do it under al 4 tires in your case so the tranny stays level since the add plug is also the fill level generally :p good luck) and look in the manual for the location of the plugs if you cant find them yourself
