Automatic Transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles or 24 months according to Honda motor corp. How often do i need to change the automatic transmission fluid on my 02 Civic? I lost the owner%26039;s manual eh...?
At least every 30K miles, depending on yoru driving habits. The 30K mile interval is for %26quot;normal%26quot; driving conditions. Some manufacturers consider %26quot;normal%26quot; to be under 20 miles per day in non-stop-and-go traffic. Unless that statement applies to you, I think most people should go 15-20K. If you drive hard, even more often.

When you change the fluid, make sure you drain, fill, start the car and shifting through R N D several times (to circulate the fluid). Then repeat again until you have drained and filled at least 3 times. You will never get 100% of the old fluid out, but will dilute the old fluid enough to where you have mostly new fluid. How often do i need to change the automatic transmission fluid on my 02 Civic? I am sure there is a manual to download. If google is no help, just ask some deep web specialists, e.g. http://manualfox.com - this is a manual search agency and if they don麓t find it, it does not exist in the Internet.
