How do you change transmission fluid?

I have an automatic 1990 Acura Integra. It seems that my gears are shifting late and sometimes, when shifting into reverse, it takes a little time to catch. I guess its the transmission fluid. I've had the car for two years and I don't know if the previous owners ever changed it. Does anyone know how to do this or a place where I can find very detailed pictures or videos of the how-to? Thanks. How do you change transmission fluid?
You should buy a repair manual from an automotive store for specific instructions pertaining to YOUR car. But typically, you drop the transmission oil pan, replace the filter, replace the pan, and fill up the trans with fluid. How do you change transmission fluid?
to be honest with you that is a old car. Changing the fluid will not help your problem. It needs to be rebuilt. How do you change transmission fluid?
Your fluid plug is on your transfer case, but it sounds like you need a new transmission strainer, a relativly lost cost job.But will be cheaper than replacing a transmission which is about $1500.00...good luck and take it to the shopHow do you change transmission fluid?
Since the car is very old %26amp; given you had the car for 2 years, it is most likely over due anyway. Many times the tranny fluids are supposed to be changed every 30k to 50K miles (not that much of miles). Some new cars allow for LONG interval of 100K miles (mostly germans - which have their own problems).

As for finding picture and videos, I think you should get a repair manual (for the most part, they can be had for about $20). Not only can you use it now, it will have sections on maintenance, diagnosis, preventive maintenance, etc. It really help to KEEP the car running longer (certainly worth $20).

Autozone used to have repair manual data online for free and no registration. But it seems you have to register now.

Good Luck....
